1. Peel potatoes and cut each into halves.
2. Preheat oven to 450°F. In shallow baking pan, melt butter or margarine. Add potatoes, turning to coat evenly. Bake 40 to 45 minutes, turning potatoes occasionally, until tender and golden. Sprinkle with paprika.
