You can make chips with almost any kind of potato (the sweet potato version is AMAZING and loaded with vitamins and minerals). They only take minutes to prepare and are a fantastic snack for kids’ lunch boxes too.
Sea salt/Kosher salt
Vegetable oil spray
1. Preheat oven to 400* F.
2. With a knife or mandolin, slice potato into chips.
3. In a bowl, combine potaotoes, oil and salt. Toss it well to coat the oil over potato slices.
4. On cookie sheet spray vegetables oil and make a layer of potato slices on it. Pop it into the oven for 15-20 minutes.
It is hard to keep children away from chips, so the best way is to make Homemade chips. These are lot healthier than the packaged ones and they are easy to make.
