Creamy Mashed Potatoes
|All purpose potatoes||4 Medium, peeled and cubed|
|Yellow onion||1 Small, finely chopped|
|Skim milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) (Warm)|
|Unsalted butter/Margarine||2 Teaspoon|
|Pepper white||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1 ln a medium-size saucepan, combine the potatoes and onion with just enough salted water to cover.
Bring the water to a boil and simmer, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
2 In a large bowl, mash the potatoes and onion with a potato masher or force them through a ricer into the bowl.
Beat in the milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
