Mashed Creamed Potatoes
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
Boil the potatoes.
Peel and mash them with, a fork, while they are hot.
Add butter, milk and salt Heat on a low fire and serve.
The mixture can also be shaped into small balls.
Add grated cheese, if desired.
If the mashed potato is to be used for pies, roll it out and leave for a while to dry.
Then place it over the pie; sprinkle some bread crumbs and dot with butter, before baking.
