Chive Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients
  Hot water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 3 Tablespoon
  Milk/Light cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Instant mashed potato flakes 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Dairy sour cream 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Finely chopped parsley 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Freeze dried chives 3 Tablespoon
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
Directions

Combine water, salt, pepper and butter in a deep, 1 1/2 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole.
Heat, uncovered, on full power 4 minutes or until mixture boils.
Add milk.
Stir in potato flakes with a fork.
Stir in remaining ingredients until well blended.
Heat, uncovered, on full power for 5 minutes or until heated to 160°F.
