Garlic Flavored Mashed Potatoes

It is not difficult to make garlic mashed potatoes. They make a good side dish and sometimes you can enjoy it for a light supper.
  Potatoes 4 Large
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm)
  Chicken broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Mayonnaise 1 Tablespoon
  Chives 1 Tablespoon
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Smoked paprika 1⁄4 Teaspoon

Cut potatoes, garlic cloves and put them in a pan. Add chicken broth and water enough to cover the potatoes. Boil for 15 minutes, until potatoes are soft. Drain the water, add butter, mayonnaise, chives and milk. Hand mash the potatoes. Sprinkle smoke paprika and garlic mashed potatoes are ready.

I was craving for good mashed potatoes for a while and I found ur post just in time... I had garlic mashed potatoes at a restaurant long ago but couldn't get the flavor just right! Keen to try ur version :)

gee..your recipes are making me rethink my resolution to stick to my diet!!.. your Garlic Mashed Potatoes look great and i am sure it will taste great too..though i might have to use a veg broth...will that be alright?
