Cheesy Potatoes & Franks

Cheesy Potatoes & Franks has a Marvelous taste. The American cheese and frankfurters gives the Cheesy Potatoes & Franks Stupefying taste.
Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vegetable shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Shredded process american cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Prepared mustard 1 Tablespoon
  Frankfurters 1⁄2 Pound
  Sliced potatoes 3 Cup (48 tbs)
Directions

In saucepan, cook onion in hot vegetable shortening until tender; stir in flour and salt.
Add milk; cook and stir over low heat until thickened and bubbly.
Remove from heat; stir in cheese and mustard.
Cut frankfurters in 1/4 inch slices.
In greased 2 quart casserole, arrange layers of half the potatoes, frankfurters, and cheese sauce; repeat layers.
Bake at 325° for 1 1/4 hours.
