Yogurt Flavored Potatoes
|Fenugreek seeds||1⁄2 Teaspoon (Methi)|
|Chili powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cumin seeds||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Turmeric powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Hing||1 Pinch (Asafoetida)|
|Yogurt||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Tomatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Liquidized)|
|Chopped coriander leaves||1 Tablespoon|
|Julienned ginger||1 Teaspoon|
Put potatoes in a deep bowl and cover with water.
Microwave potatoes covered at medium high 70% power for 30 minutes.
Cool and peel them.
Crush them coarsely by hand.
Microwave in another bowl all the rest of the ingredients together (except potatoes) for 5 minutes stirring in between.
Mix in crushed potatoes and microwave for 5 more minutes, stirring occasionally.
