Fresh Strawberries And Raspberries In Port

  Fresh strawberries 1 Pint
  Fresh raspberries 1⁄2 Pint
  Port 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Cut the strawberries in half lengthwise (or in quarters if they're huge).
Leave the raspberries whole.
Combine the berries in a deep bowl.
Pour the port over them, and marinate in the refrigerator for not less than 2 hours and not more than 4 hours.
Stir occasionally.
Serve in stemmed wine glasses.
Crisp chocolate cookies make an ideal accompaniment.
