Endive Salad With Port And Raisins
|Seedless raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Port||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Readymade citronette dressing||4 Tablespoon|
1 In a bowl, soak the seedless white raisins in the port.
2 Rinse the Belgian endive briefly.
3 Dry thoroughly.
4 Cut off the tough ends from the endive.
5 Slice lengthwise in quarters.
6 Cut these pieces into 1 1/2 in lengths.
7 Chop the walnuts coarsely.
8 Drain the white raisins.
9 In individual bowls, arrange the salad.
10 Sprinkle with the port flavored seedless white raisins.
11 Sprinkle the citronette dressing all over the salad.
12 Serve at once.
