Rice Porridge

Ingredients
  Milk 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Uncooked long grain rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Blanched almonds 1
  Sugar 5 Tablespoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Bring milk to boiling in a heavy saucepan; add rice very gradually, stirring constantly, and continue to stir 1 to 2 minutes.
Cover and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, 45 to 60 minutes, or until almost all of milk is absorbed and rice is completely tender.
Stir in the salt.
Transfer to a serving dish.
Top with pats of butter and accompany with a mixture of the sugar and cinnamon
