Soy Cornmeal Porridge
|Soy grits||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cold water/Potato water / milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cornmeal||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Hot water/Potato water / milk||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Nutritional yeast||2 Tablespoon|
Mix soy grits, cornmeal, salt and yeast with cold water to make smooth paste.
Stir mixture into boiling liquid in top of double boiler.
Cook over direct heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Place over bottom of double boiler, to which hot water has been added.
Cook for one hour.
