Porridge

Today I decided to make some porridge. Rolled oats aren't very common in Japan - the only oats I've seen are imported from the United States. I think there are many ways to make porridge. I followed the instructions on the packet.
Ingredients
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Oats 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. Bring to a boil the water in a pan.
2. Add salt and oats and cook for a few minutes.
3. Stir to combine well.

SERVING
4. Plate, add some milk and serve.
