Akki Da Fav Fruitmeal Porridge

Oat meal porridge dunked with nice ness of fruits and nuts, making it a healthy and satiating way to kick start the day.
Ingredients
  Rolled oats 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Honey To Taste (as required)
  Prunes 2 Tablespoon, chopped
  Raisins 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Figs 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Green apples 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), thinly sliced
Directions

MAKING
1. In a deep sauce pan, combine milk and water and bring to a boil.
2. Once boiled, add oats and mix well.
3. Reduce flame and cook for 10 minutes or till oats are cooked and moisture is almost absorbed.
4. Add honey (as required), fruits and nuts and mix well.

SERVING
5. Serve hot.

Working with Akki was a pleasure….in between shoot breaks at Masterchef India Season 1, whenever he used to get hungry, he wanted a porridge..that’s how freaky he is about his health  And we always obliged 
