|Salt||1⁄4 Teaspoon (Leveled)|
1) On the night before making, measure the water, oatmeal and salt into a saucepan. Let the ingredients soak overnight.
2) When ready to cook, bring the soaked ingredients to a boil, stirring continuously. Bring the heat down and allow to cook gently over low heat for about 15 minutes, occasionally stirring.
3) Serve hot along with creamy milk and sugar or just enough salt to sprinkle.
