|Water||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Rolled oats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Bring the salted water to a boil.
Sprinkle in the rolled oats, stirring all the time and keeping the liquid on a fast boil to avoid lumps.
Reduce the heat and let the porridge simmer for 25 minutes, stirring from time to time.
