Pork Chops And Apple Slices

Ingredients
  Pork loin chops 4 , well trimmed (About 1 Inch Thick)
  Apples 2 Medium, peeled, cored and sliced
  Butter 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

In skillet, brown pork chops quickly; drain well.
Arrange a layer of sliced apples in crock pot, then a layer of pork chops; repeat.
Dot with butter; sprinkle with nutmeg.
Add salt and pepper.
Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours.
