Fruited Pork Chops

Ingredients
  Pork loin chops 6 , well trimmed (About 1 Inch Thick)
  Cooking oil 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Tart apples 6 , cored and thickly sliced
  Dried currants 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

In skillet, brown chops in oil.
Sprinkle with salt during browning; drain well.
Place chops in crock pot.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over chops.
Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours.
