Sweet And Sour Pork With Sauce
|Pork shoulder||1 Pound, cubed into 3/4 inch pieces|
|Oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pineapple cubes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1 , cut into 3/4 inch squares|
|Vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Cornstarch||2 Tablespoon, mixed with water|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Heat a deep frying pan with the oil.
Mix the batter, dip the pork cubes into this mixture and drop into the boiling fat.
When they brown, remove them and drain on absorbent paper.
Mix the ingredients for the sauce in a pan and bring slowly to a boil, stirring constantly.
Pour the thickening into the sauce, and when it becomes thick and smooth, add the meat and mix well.
When it is very hot, turn into a shallow bowl and serve immediately.
