Pork Chops Supreme
|Pork chops||6 (1 Inch Thick)|
|Shortening||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1 Large|
|Uncooked minute rice||6 Tablespoon|
|Tomatoes||1 1⁄2 Can (15 oz)|
Dust chops with salt and pepper; brown in shortening over medium heat.
On top of each chop, place a slice of onion, then a ring of green pepper.
Add 1 tablespoon rice in each pepperring.
Simmer slowly for 45 minutes.
When almost done, put tomatoes on top of rice; cook until done.
