Braised Pork Chops
|Pork loin chops/Rib chops||4 (0.50 To 1 Inch Thick)|
|Pan gravy||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Pineapple juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Brown meat over medium heat.
Season with salt and pepper.
Reduce heat; pour pineapple juice on meat.
Cover tightly; simmer 1/2 inch chops 20 to 25 minutes, 1 inch chops 30 to 35 minutes or until done.
Serve with Pan Gravy.
Sprouts Saute (page 60), an apple salad and mashed potatoes are nice serve-alongs for the braised chops.
