Microwave Pork Roast With Apples
|Boneless pork shoulder roast||3 Pound (1.5 Kilogram)|
|Sliced onions||2 Cup (32 tbs) (500 Milliliter)|
|Butter||1 Tablespoon (15 Milliliter)|
|Apples||3 , peeled and thickly sliced|
|Dried thyme||1 Teaspoon (5 Milliliter)|
Trim excess fet from pork.
In deep 12 cup (3 L) microwaveable casserole, microwave onions and butter at High for 4 minutes or until softened, stirring once.
Scatter apples over top; nestle roast in apples.
Sprinkle with thyme.
Cover and microwave at High for 5 minutes.
Microwave at Medium (50%) for 1 hour or until thermometer registers 160 to 17CÂ°F (71 to 75 Â°F), turning roast over halfway through and rotating dish twice.
Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Slice meat and arrange on platter; surround with apple mixture.
