Sweet And Sour Pork With Noodles

Sweet And Sour Pork is an extremely addictive pork dish. I prepare it for my tots as they love it. Try serving this delicious Sweet And Sour Pork for your family, I am sure they will love it too!
Ingredients
  Lean pork 1 1⁄2 Pound (Cubed Or Cut In Strips)
  Fat 1 Tablespoon
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Pineapple chunks 1 Can (10 oz)
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chopped sweet pickles 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped green pepper 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Sliced onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cooked rice/Chow mein noodles 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Brown pork slowly in hot fat.
Add water; cover and simmer until tender, about 1 hour.
Drain pineapple, reserving syrup.
Combine brown sugar and cornstarch; add pineapple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce and salt.
Over low heat, cook and stir until thick.
Pour over cooked pork.
Let stand 10 minutes; add pineapple, sweet pickles, green pepper and onion.
Cook 2 to 3 minutes.
Serve over rice or chow mein noodles.
If desired, saute green pepper and onion prior to adding to pineapple and pickles.
