Pork Chops Bagatelle
|Gruyere cheese slices||8|
|Eggs||2 , beaten|
|Bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Stack in sequence and skewer 1 pork chop, 1 slice cheese, 1/2 slice ham, a second slice of cheese, and another pork chop.
Repeat for other 3 skewers.
Coat with egg and dip into bread crumbs.
Heat butter in a glass baking dish on highest setting for 20 seconds.
Add chops and cook on each side for 1 minute.
Cover and cook on "roast" setting for 12 to 15 minutes or until pork is thoroughly cooked.
