Pork And Fruit Skillet
|Uncooked instant rice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned pineapple chunks||13 1⁄4 Ounce, drained reserve liquid|
|Frozen breaded pork patties||17 1⁄2 Ounce|
|Sweet and sour sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Apricot halves||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Dried Or Canned)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cook rice as directed on package except substi tute reserved pineapple syrup for part of the water.
Cook pork patties as directed on package.
While meat cooks, heat pineapple chunks, sweet and sour sauce, apricot halves and water to boiling.
Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 10 minutes.
Spoon sauce on pork patties.
Serve with rice.
For a quick as can be meal, serve with buttered peas and Pudding Pie Dessert
