Pork Chops With Raisins And Oranges
|Pork chops||6 (About 1 Inch Thick Well Trimmed)|
|Vegetable oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Oranges||2 (Sections Removed From Membranes)|
|Raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cornstarch||2 Tablespoon (In 2 Tablespoons Cold Water, Mixed Until Smooth)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
Dredge pork chops with flour that has been seasoned with salt and pepper.
Brown in hot oil on both sides in a large skillet.
Place in slow cooker with orange sections and raisins.
Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan.
Stir and heat until sauce boils and is thickened.
Pour over pork and fruit in slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
Spoon fruit and accumulated cooking liquid over chops when served.
