Trim fat from chops.
Season chops with salt and pepper.
Place chops in center of the cooking grill.
Grill 35 to 40 minutes for medium 160Â°F (71 Â°C) or 40 to 45 minutes for well-done 170Â°F (77Â°C).
Brush chops with bottled barbecue sauce during the last 3 minutes of grilling time.
Citrus Pork Chops: Prepare as above, except omit salt and pepper.
Brush chops with a mixture of 1/3 cup orange marmalade, 2 teaspoons soy sauce, and dash ground ginger during the last 3 minutes of grilling time.
Spiced Pork Chops: Prepare as above, except omit salt and pepper.
Brush chops with 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and rub with mixture of 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper before grilling.
