Spicy Rump Roast

Ingredients
  Rump 4 Pound, roast
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

Wipe roast with clean, damp cloth.
Blend all other ingredients into paste-like marinade.
Place roast in dish that holds it snugly, and pour marinade over.
Cover dish, and set in cool place 5—6 hours or longer, basting and turning meat occasionally.
Preheat oven to 325 °F.
Place roast, fat side up, on rack in open pan.
For medium rare, allow about 35 minutes per pound; for well done, 40 minutes.
