Apple Cider Pork Roast

Ingredients
  Pork shoulder 5 Pound
  Apple cider 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Pumpkin pie spice 1 Teaspoon
  Apples 2 , cored and sliced
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
Directions

MAKING
1) Into kettle or dutch oven cook the meat till evenly browned
2) Sprinkle in the pumpkin pie spice, and pour over the meat the cider
3) Cover and bake in the oven for 3 hours till tender
4) Remove the meat and drain off the liquid into a measuring jar up to 4 cups and allow to rest
5) Onto the base of the kettle arrange the apple slices
6) Add in the brown sugar to the drained liquid and pour over the meat
7) Bake in the oven basting the meat with this liquid for 30 minutes
8) Set aside the meat once baked
9) Make a paste of the flour and water and add the liquid in the kettle to make a thick gravy
10) Season the gravy with salt and pepper

SERVING
11) Cut the meat into slices and serve with the gravy
