Lemon Almond Pork Chops

Ingredients
  Pork chops 4
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground pepper To Taste
  Vegetable oil 2 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  White vinegar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Honey 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 Small, thinly sliced
  Thin lemon slices 4
  Sliced almonds 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Season chops lightly with salt and pepper, then dust with flour.
In skillet, heat oil; brown chops on both sides.
Drain any excess fat.
Combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vinegar, honey and soy sauce; pour over chops.
Add onion.
Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes or until chops are tender.
Uncover pan, increase heat and cook until sauce is thickened and reduced, about 5 minutes.
During last minute of cooking, top each chop with lemon slice and a few almonds; spoon sauce over to glaze.
