Country Style Oven Ribs

Ingredients
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cumin 1 Teaspoon
  Paprika 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Country style pork ribs 3 1⁄2 Pound
  Root beer 4 Cup (64 tbs) (Not Low Calorie)
  Bottled barbecue sauce 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Tomato paste 2 Tablespoon
  Vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Dijon mustard 2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
Directions

In a small bowl combine the salt, cumin, paprika, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves.
Sprinkle ribs with spice mixture, rubbing it over entire surface.
Place ribs, bone sides up, in a shallow roasting pan.
Cover and bake in a 350° oven for 1 1/4 hours.
Meanwhile, for sauce, in a large saucepan bring root beer to boiling.
Boil gently, uncovered, for 20 to 25 minutes or until root beer is reduced to 1 1/4 cups.
Remove from heat.
Stir in the barbecue sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
Return to boiling.
Boil gently, uncovered, for 1 minute.
Remove from heat.
Drain fat from ribs.
Turn ribs meaty sides up.
Spoon about half of the sauce over ribs.
Bake for 45 minutes more, basting once or twice with more of the sauce.
To serve, spoon the remaining sauce over ribs.
