Pork Steaks With Apple Stuffing

Ingredients
  Pork shoulder blade steaks 3 3⁄4 Pound (Cut 1/2 Inch Thick)
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Apples 2 Large, cored and cut into 1-inch pieces
  Stalk celery 1 , cut into 1 inch pieces
  Onion 1 Medium, cut into 1 inch pieces
  Plain croutons 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Poultry seasoning 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Instant beef bouillon granules 1 Teaspoon
  Hot apple juice/Water 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

In large skillet slowly brown 3 of the steaks on both sides in hot shortening.
Season generously with "salt and pepper.
Place in a 15x10x1-inch baking pan.
Repeat with remaining steaks.
Place steel blade in work bowl; add apple.
Process with on/off turns till finely chopped.
Remove apple to mixing bowl; reinsert steel blade in work bowl.
Add celery and onion; process with on/off turns till finely chopped.
Add to apple.
Add croutons, raisins, salt, poultry seasoning, and pepper.
Dissolve bouillon granules in hot apple juice or water; toss with apple mixture.
Spoon onto steaks, pressing lightly.
Cover; bake in 350° oven about 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake10 minutes more.
