Party Pork Chops
|Pork chops||8 (1 1/2 Inches Thick)|
|All-purpose flour||4 Tablespoon|
|Evaporated milk||14 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can, Undiluted)|
|Sliced fresh mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Canned mushroom soup||10 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Chopped walnuts/Cashews||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced parsley||1 Tablespoon|
Season pork chops to taste with salt, pepper, and paprika; dredge with flour.
Brown quickly in a small amount of butter.
Place chops in shallow baking pan and pour evaporated milk over.
Bake in preheated slow oven (325°F.) for 1 hour.
Add mushrooms and the mushroom soup, and bake for 30 minutes longer.
Sprinkle with walnuts which have been browned lightly in butter and with minced parsley.
