Pork Steaks with Apple Stuffing
|Pork steaks||6 (1/2 Inch Thick)|
|Apple stuffing||1 Cup (16 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Tart red apples||3 , cored and halved|
Slowly brown pork steaks on both sides in hot fat; season well with salt and pepper.
Place in shallow baking dish; cover each steak with layer of Apple Stuffing, and top with apple half; sprinkle with sugar.
Cover dish tightly with foil.
Bake in moderate oven (350°) 1 hour or till pork is well done.
