Smoked Pork Loin With Plum Sauce
|Centre cut smoked pork loin||900 Gram (1 Loin)|
|Orange juice||250 Milliliter|
|Hungarian plum brandy||60 Milliliter|
|Plum jam||250 Milliliter|
|Ground ginger||1 Milliliter|
|Cold water||30 Milliliter|
Cut the loin into six even pieces.
Place in a casserole dish.
In a sauce pan combine the orange juice, brandy, jam and ginger.
Bring to a boil.
Blend the cornstarch with the water, pour into the sauce, once the sauce returns to a boil remove from the heat.
Pour over the pork, cover and bake in a preheated 350°F (180°C) oven for 30 minutes.
Remove and serve.
