Roasted Pork Loin
|Boneless pork loin||6 Pound|
|Salt||2 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Basting sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Use Your Favorite)|
Sprinkle pork loin with salt and pepper.
Insert meat thermometer in center of thickest part of roast with point away from bone and fat.
Center meat on cooking grill over drip pan.
Cover kettle and cook to 170°F. (well-done), about 17 minutes per pound for charcoal or 20 minutes per pound for gas.
Brush roast with pan drippings or basting sauce 3 or 4 times during last 15 minutes of cooking.
Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
