Pork Chops Cacciatore With Green Pepper Rings
|Pork chops||6 (About 3/4 Inch Thick)|
|Thin onion slices||6|
|Spaghetti sauce mix||1 Ounce (1 Envelope)|
|Canned tomatoes||1 Pound (1 Can / 2 Cups)|
|Brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Green pepper rings||6|
Trim fat from chops.
Brown chops in 1 tablespoon melted fat; season with salt and dash pepper; place in 11 1/2x7 1/2x1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Top each chop with onion slice.
Combine next 3 ingredients; pour over chops.
Cover with foil; bake at 350° for 1 hour.
Uncover; top chops with pepper; bake 15 minutes.
Serve with hot cooked rice.
