Crouton & Celery Stuffed Pork Chops
|Thinly sliced celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely chopped onion||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Seasoned croutons||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Beef broth/Water||10 Tablespoon (Divided)|
|Pork rib chops||4 (3/4 Inch Thick)|
|Browning sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
In small glass bowl, combine celery, onion and butter.
Heat at high3 to 4 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
Add croutons and 6 tablespoons broth; stir until absorbed.
Cut pocket in each chop for stuffing; season with pepper.
Stuff chops, with crouton mixture; secure with wooden toothpicks.
In 2-quart oblong baking dish arrange chops, ribs toward center, add remaining broth.
Brush chops with browning sauce mixed with a little water.
