Pork Hocks With Vegetables

Ingredients
  Pork hocks 2
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Carrots 4
  Onions 4 Medium
  Potatoes 4 Medium
  Cabbage 1 Small, cut into thick wedges
Directions

In a large pot, cover the hocks with water, put the lid on the pot and simmer for about one and a half hours, or until the hocks are almost cooked.
Add the salt and pepper, carrots, onions and potatoes, peeled but whole, and cook for another 15 minutes.
Add the wedges of cabbage, and continue to cook everything until all the vegetables are tender.
