Pork Chops With Prunes
|Pork chops||6 , cut 1 inch thick|
|Cooked chopped prunes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Bread slice||1 , cubed|
Sprinkle chops on both sides with salt and pepper.
With a sharp knife cut a pocket into side of each chop.
Mix remaining ingredients except cream and stuff mixture into chops.
Place chops in a skillet and brown on both sides.
Place chops in a well-greased casserole.
Cover and bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 45 minutes, or until chops are tender.
Chops may be spread with sour cream just before serving.
