Stewed Pork (Red Cooked)
|Lean pork||8 Ounce (250 Gram)|
|Pork skin piece||1 Ounce (30 Gram)|
|For seasoning sauce|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
Cut the pork into 3-cm (1 - inch) cubes.
In a heavy saucepan arrange the onions on the bottom, then the pork skin, skin side downwards, and then the pork cubes.
Pour the seasoning sauce over, cover the pan with a tight-fitting lid and bring quickly to the boil.
Turn down the heat and simmer for 1 hour, without removing the lid.
Shake the pan from time to time to prevent anything sticking to the bottom.
The gravy should be almost gone when the cooking is finished.
Discard the pork skin and serve hot.
