Smoked Pork Dinner

Ingredients
  Pork shoulder 4 Pound, cook-before-eating
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Garlic powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Bay leaf 1
  Potatoes 6 Medium, peeled and halved
  Carrots 6 Medium, peeled and halved
  Brussels sprouts 20 Ounce, frozen (2 Packages)
Directions

Place meat in Dutch oven; cover with water.
Add onion, celery, garlic powder, and bay leaf.
Cover; bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; simmer till almost tender, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Add potatoes and carrots; cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Add Brussels sprouts; simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Discard the bay leaf.
