Smoked Pork Dinner
|Pork shoulder||4 Pound, cook-before-eating|
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Garlic powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Potatoes||6 Medium, peeled and halved|
|Carrots||6 Medium, peeled and halved|
|Brussels sprouts||20 Ounce, frozen (2 Packages)|
Place meat in Dutch oven; cover with water.
Add onion, celery, garlic powder, and bay leaf.
Cover; bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; simmer till almost tender, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Add potatoes and carrots; cover and simmer for about 15 minutes.
Add Brussels sprouts; simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
Discard the bay leaf.
