Salt Pork

Ingredients
  Pork 15 Pound (of any cut you wish)
  Salt 1 Pound
Directions

Rub the pieces of meat all over with the salt, and put them into a large crock.
When it is full, cover the crock tightly to keep out the air.
The pork may be used after five or six days; if you wish to keep it a long time, add more salt, but the fresher salt pork is the better it is.
