Braised Caraway Pork Chops
|Center cut pork loin chops||24 Ounce (4 Pieces, 6 Ounce Each)|
|Margarine||4 Teaspoon (1 Tablespoon Plus 1 Teaspoon)|
|Chopped onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sliced mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Caraway seed||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Chopped fresh parsley||4 Teaspoon (1 Tablespoon Plus 1 Teaspoon)|
On rack in broiling pan broil chops, turning once, until rare.
In 12-inch skillet heat margarine until bubbly and hot; add onions and saute until softened.
Add pork chops, mushrooms, caraway seed, salt, and pepper and cook for 5 minutes; add water, cover, and let simmer until meat is tender, about 45 minutes.
