Roast Pork Loin Monaco Style
|Pork loin roast||2 1⁄2 Pound|
|Dry white wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Place the pork in a baking dish.
Spread the butter on top of the loin, and surround it with the wine, cloves, peppercorns, salt and bay leaf.
Put the dish into a preheated 350° F. [180° C] oven and roast the pork for about one to one and a half hours, or until it is done and well browned.
Baste the pork occasionally during cooking with the liquid from the dish.
