Classic Curried Pork
|All purpose flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Lean pork||2 Pound, cut into 1-inch cubes|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Curry powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Chili powder||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Chopped onions||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped green peppers||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Hot bouillon/Hot water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Combine flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, and ginger.
Coat pork with this mixture.
Brown on all sides in hot butter, stirring occasionally.
Stir in curry and chili powder.
Add onions, green peppers, and bouillon.
Simmer, covered, for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours, or until pork is tender, stirring occasionally.
