Pork Chop With Scallions And Apples

I have tried many pork chop recipes and this is one of my favorites.
Ingredients
  Scallions 5 Ounce
  Apple 1
  Pork chop 1
  Oil 4 Tablespoon
  Marjoram sprig 1
Directions

This pork chop recipe would turn out to be a bit sweet. So if that is not your cup of tea, beware! To get started, prepare the apple by cutting it in thin segments. Prepare the frying pan by adding oil and warming it on medium heat. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, and fry it for a few minutes. At the same time, heat the oven to about 350 degrees. Layer the pork chops with marjoram and transfer the combination to the oven. Bake the pork chops for about 12-15 minutes depending how well you want it done.

In the meantime, fry the scallions and apples (yes, fry the apples too!) for about 2 minutes. Add some majoram leaves to the pan (they give it a slightly minty, citrusy taste). Season this with a little salt, pepper, and (if you like) sugar. Take the chops out of the oven and serve with fried apples and scallions.

Enjoy with a glass of nice red wine!
