Pork Chops With Candied Yams

  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Canned candied sweet potatoes 18 Ounce (1 Can)
  Rubbed sage 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Pinch
  Ground nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Orange 1 Small, thinly sliced, seeds removed
  Orange juice 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon

1. Arrange pork chops in an 8-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover. Microwave at Time Cook (power level 10) for 9 minutes, rotating the dish 1/2 turn after 5 minutes.
2. Slice the sweet potatoes thickly and arrange on top of the pork chops. Sprinkle with sage, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Top evenly with orange slices. Cover. Microwave at Time Cook (power level 7) for 9 to 13 minutes, or until chops are tender with slotted spoon or spatula, rotating the dish 1/2 turn after 5 minutes. Remove chops and sweet potatoes to serving platter and cover.
3. Blend orange juice and cornstarch. Add cornstarch mixture to the pan juices. Blending well. Microwave, uncovered, at Time Cook (power level 10) for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, or until sauce is bubbly and thickened. Spoon over chops.
