Fried Apples With Salt Pork
|Salt pork||1 Ounce|
|Tart apples||4 , thinly sliced (cored)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon (packed)|
Remove rind from salt pork; slice meat thinly.
In skillet brown salt pork slowly.
Add apples and sugar.
Cover and cook till apples are tender and translucent, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
