Orange Spiced Pork Chops

Ingredients
  Non-stick vegetable spray 1 Tablespoon
  Pork top loin chops 6 , cut 1/2 inch thick and trimmed of fat
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Orange juice 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Oranges 2
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Orange juice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Ground allspice 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

Spray bottom of a 12-inch skillet with non stick vegetable spray coating; brown pork chops on both sides.
Season with the salt and pepper; add the 1/4 cup orange juice.
Cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes or till the meat is tender.
Meanwhile, using a vegetable peeler, remove a very thin layer of the peel from one of the oranges.
Slice the peel into julienne strips.
Peel and section both oranges and cut sections into 1/2 inch pieces; set aside, Simmer orange peel strips in the water for 15 minutes; drain well and set aside the orange peel strips.
To make sauce, in small saucepan combine sugar and cornstarch.
Stir in the 1 cup orange juice.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Add the orange pieces, peel, and allspice.
Cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes more.
